About Kristen Bauer
Kristen has more than 15 years of both public and private accounting experience and specializes in small business accounting. She focuses on financial accounting, budgeting and cash flow management across a variety of industries, including construction, hospitality, design, communications and more. She also assists clients with the setup and conversion of new accounting systems, and has a passion for helping start-ups establish best-practice accounting strategies and processes.
Prior to starting her own firm, KB Accounting Solutions, in 2010, Kristen was an Auditor for the international firm Grant Thornton. She began her accounting career as an accountant for a well-established, historical restaurant in the Colorado mountains. Kristen received her BA in Business from the University of Colorado.
When she’s not crunching numbers, Kristen spends her time chasing two kids and an array of pets, including three dogs, one cat, a tortoise and fish. She also helps run the Denver restaurant she and her husband own, and can always be found cheering for the Broncos or planning her next travel adventure.
